Role: .Net Developer with Medical Device programming Location: Tarrytown, NY 10591 Duration: 6 Months Under the supervision of the Systems Engineering Functional Manager the incumbent is a member of a team of system and software engineers responsible for providing the specification and architecture for new products, requirements analysis, as well as design and development of cloud infrastructure feasibility prototypes for integration into medical devices and systems. *Major Tasks:* • Development and design of client-server software modules and protocols/APIs which acts as glue to integrate medical devices and systems, including Bluetooth enabled medical devices, mobile device applications and other cloud enabled applications. • Architecture and development experience in enterprise applications. • Design and implementation knowledge for Authorization/Authentication services. • Design and implementation of MSMQ (Microsoft Messaging Queue) and oAuth. • Design and implementation of security around Web Services and Relation database. • Provide detailed input to R&D team members regarding the technical feasibility of proposed designs, technical risks, and potential mitigation strategies. • Conceptual design and subsequent development of feasibility prototypes of system features and technology. • Design and implement, a robust, scalable data access service back-end, DB, web interface and define a robust client interface to be used by smart devices and PCs. • Implement a web-hosted client. • Integration of API with 3rd party applications. • Logistical and operational decision making and supervision. • Requirements specification and protocol API creation and subsequent maintenance of technical documentation in support of Medical Care quality system and process requirements. • Active participation in product development by providing/reviewing specification and risk assessment · Position Requirements • Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, with 8 plus years of experience, or MS with 6 plus years of experience • Relevant Microsoft server technologies • IIS, Server Hardening • SQL Server, • Entity Framework, • Load Balancers • SIOS, Splunk • WCF Framework, • WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) • Experience with client-server transaction-level synchronization and back-end synchronization/replication.d • Experience working in cross functional, multi-site, global development teams • Must have good technical, written, and spoken communication skills.
