*Position: *JIRA Administrator with implementation Exp *Contract: *5+ months *Location: *Sacramento, CA *Interview mode*: phone and SKYPE Looking for a JIRA Administrator with implementation experience. This is a 5+ month contract opportunity. *Position Description:* - Performs with distinction as a well-rounded senior-level JIRA administrator and implementer - Creates new fields, screens, workflows, and other project attributes and assigns then to projects - Modifies existing projects to use standardized schemes (permission, notification, screen, issue type, workflow, etc...) - Provides maintenance and support services on existing JIRA projects - Provides suggestions of proven best practices for new and expanding JIRA installations - Creates new JIRA project configurations to automate existing business processes - Writes Groovy scripts to automate workflows using conditions, validators, and post-functions - Performs server admin and optimization functions to ensure peak performance *Functional Requirements:* - Works well within a team of software developers and with business process owners - Works well building solution using established standards - Proficient at gathering, documenting, and clarifying software requirements - Able to work with minimal supervision to deliver a quality software product on time and on budget - Possesses clear, concise verbal and written communication skills - Maintains a positive, can-do attitude - Possesses a high regard for customer satisfaction - Maintains excellent reliability and attendance habits - Receives constructive feedback well - Able to commit to an on-site contract for an extended time *Required Technical Skills & Experience: * - Expert level JIRA experience including application and project configuration - Solid understanding of Atlassian Confluence and how it relates to and interacts with JIRA - Experience with a distributed source control system (Mercurial or GIT) - Experience with Groovy and ScriptRunner - Extensive knowledge of and experience with SQL Server development, including intermediate to advanced skill in Transact SQL - Knowledge of and experience with SOAP and REST web services, especially those that are part of JIRA API *Additional Skills Considered a Plus: * - Experience configuring JIRA Data Center edition - Experience with other Atlassian Tools (Bitbucket Server, Bamboo, JIRA Service Desk, and popular add-ons) - Experience with Riada Insight Asset Management - Experience writing custom JIRA add-ons - Experience creating custom blueprints in Confluence Regards *Sumit Kumar* Sr. Talent Acquisition *T: 248.565.4747 | Extn. 168* Fax : +1-248.254.7211 Tekshapers Inc. 1441 E.
