*Responsibilities for this Position Include:*



•        Experience in Cisco IOS, Linux, Microsoft operating systems

•        Understanding of switching concepts, and LAN/WAN technologies

•        Routing protocols: (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, VLAN, HSRP, VRRP,
GLBP,      STP,VTP), DHCP, DNS, and SNMP

•        Configuration and VLAN setup on cisco 1900,2950,3550,3560,3750,
6500, 7k switches

•        Configuration of Cisco 1600,2600,2800, 3600, and 7200 routers

•        Cisco IOS recovery, upgrade and backup

•        Troubleshooting Cisco wireless access points and controllers:
AP105, AP65

•        Technical Knowledge in windows server 2003-2008, Active directory,
SQL server 2008, and Exchange server 2007

•        Experience working with Networking Management systems like Cisco
ICE and Prime

•        Experience working with Cisco ASA firewalls 5500, 5505, 5510
series

•        Experience working with Fortinet Firewalls

•        Experience working with F5 (LTM & GTM) and Citrix Netscaler (7.0 &
8.0) load balancers, or load balancers in general

•        Expert knowledge of network connectivity and topologies used in a
large scale environment.

•        Extensive knowledge in LAN/WAN design and architecture.

•        In depth knowledge and proven experience with network management,
diagnostic and troubleshooting tools.

•        In depth knowledge and proven experience with network capacity
planning.

•        Ability to direct implementations working with remote personnel
and locations.

•        Ability to create and/or knowledge of scripting languages.

•        Networking, network design and network security experience

•        Experience troubleshooting and resolving network anomalies on an
operational network

•        Knowledge and field experience of routing and switching knowledge,
including previous experience with Cisco, VPN and Wireless

•        Customer focused attitude

•        Attention to detail

•        Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

•        The ability to clearly articulate complex issues to various
levels/audiences

•        Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently

•        Ability to develop and implement highly complex network.

•        Solid analytical skills to troubleshoot highly complex and/or
technical problems

•        Ability to engage with customers, manufacturer partners, and
internal and technical staff

•        Ability to manage conflicting priorities

•        Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation

•        Advanced technical, analytical, problem solving, multitasking,
project management and time management skills with consistent attention to
detail.

•        Presentation (written and verbal) communication skills. Ability to
effectively communicate technical issues and solutions to all levels of
business.
