Please find the requirement below and let me know your interest.. *POSITION* *Vmware VDI Consultant * *St. Louis, MO 63108* *3-6 month contract* *MUST:* - Strong understanding of VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure), and working with VMWare 5.5 – 6.x o Example = how to boot from SAN, pushing out group policy on VDI, working with applications on VDI, etc. - Experience working with Citrix (Xendesktop) · Experience with large complex environments (in an enterprise environment) o Multi-datacenter o Multi-domain · Experience with customer migrations from one environment into another – Citrix to VDI preferred *PLUS:* Powershell scripting Active directory experience Experience with migrations *Description:* Client is looking for an experienced VDI Consultant to assist the end user services project with one of our local higher education clients. There is a small team of systems engineers that are well versed with VMware, but they are in need of a highly specialized VDI resource to help them on a series of projects aimed at rolling 30+ existing IT departments into one new central IT organization.
