Duration: 4-6 Months Location: Roseville, CA Role: Informatica Architect Role Description: The Informatica Architect would need to have 5 or more years of experience using Informatica with dimensional data warehouses. This candidate would be part of a team creating a new data warehouse by assembling data from multiple, disparate systems using Informatica and Oracle PL/SQL. The candidate would be responsible for configuring the Informatica software and the Informatica server as well as being the technical lead for the ETL development team. The candidate would be responsible for making sure that best practices were followed in ETL development; leading code reviews and communicating status of development to the project leadership. Required Skills: · Expert in database concepts, logical/physical design; development; and the use of dimensional data warehouses · Expert level experience with Informatica PowerCenter 9 · Working knowledge of Informatica PowerExchange · Ability to use the Unstructured Data Option to import Excel multi-tab workbooks · Experience with Informatica Data Quality · Informatica Metadata Manager · Analyze and evaluate data sources · Design, develop, and implement complex ETL processes · Good knowledge of ETL processes and Informatica Best Practices · Analyze source data for potential data quality issues and address these issues in ETL procedures · Oracle RDBMS 10g or 11g · Creating Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures · Experience in developing and deployment of an ETL framework to capture key ETL metrics and to manage the ETL process Desirable Skills: · Informatica certification · Experience with Informatica Data Services · Grid - enabled Powercenter · Data acquisition from JMS/Web Sphere MQ Series messages · Ability and desire to mentor/coach others in a team environment · Strong analytical, problem solving and presentation skills · Experience in Automation is preferred · Experience with SQL Server 2005, 2008, 2008R2 is a plus Work Experience: · Ideal technical experience (minimum 5+ years of solid Informaticaexperience, 10 years strongly preferred). - Full lifecycle development experience of data warehouse related ETL in Informatica 9. · ETL design and development for acquisition of XML, Excel sheet, RDBMS, SQL Server, Oracle, and complex Flat File formats. · Experienced in tuning Informatica Mappings to identify and remove processing bottlenecks. · Strong organizational and documentation skills. · Setup automated change to production for Informatica code. · Automated testing of ETL mappings. · Installation, configuration, and administration of highly-available Informatica Powercenter environment. *Have A Blessed Day Ahead.* * * *Thanks and Regards,* *Sagai Mary**| Addon Technologies | 734-956-4737 Extn.1+225 Fax: (734) 418-2603 | sa...@addonusa.com | www.addonusa.com |* *Gtalk: sagaiai...@gmail.com* * * *Note: This is not an unsolicited mail.
