Please share suitable profiles towards below urgent position. *Role: Middleware Engineer* Location : Foster City, CA Duration : 12 Months Middleware Systems Engineer: The main functions for this position include: (1) Assist with the migration of web, middleware, and third party applications for data center migration projects. (2) Assist with day-to-day middleware engineering activities. *Must have skills:* - 5+ years experience with middleware engineering; Larger corporation, multi-departmental dependencies experience; - Experienced in: JBoss, Tomcat, tcServer, and/or WebSphere; - Experienced with HTTP, IHS, IIS, web services proxy, Multiprotocol Gateway; - Excellent analytical and communication skills; ability to work well in a team Nice to have skills - Data center migrations of middleware and third party applications Qualifications / Education: Bachelor degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. 5+ years experience with middleware engineering Experience with several of the following: - Web, middleware, and third party applications - Third party applications: Actuate, Business Objects, Connect:Direct, DMExpress, E4X, GeoDirectory Services, Hadoop/Hive, HTTP, IHS, IIS, JBoss, MongoDB, Oracle DSEE, RedHat Directory Services, Sabrix, Siteminder, vFabric tcServer, vFabric Web Server, WebSphere Application Server, WebSphere MQ - Web services and web application services - Web Services Proxy and Multiprotocol Gateway - Data center migrations of middleware and third party applications - Datapower (DP) appliances - Version control and build management of Middleware technologies - SOMA interface - Splunk for logging and monitoring - Java and J2EE DESIRED BACKGROUND: - Excellent analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written, are mandatory. - Expectation is the candidate will have demonstrated the ability to work well in a team, collaborating with developers, customers, project managers and requirements analysts. - Strong working knowledge / experience in designing, implementing and supporting web, middleware, and third party applications. - Strong working knowledge in one or more OSes. - Good understanding of networking principles. - Experience in the Financial sector or PCI is a plus.
