* Position :- Oracle DBA with PL/SQL
Location :- Sacramento, CA. Duration :- 12 months Seeking seasoned professional with over 10 years of extensive hands-on experience with performance tuning of SQL and PL/SQL for Oracle 10g DB-based applications in fast-paced, dynamic optimization projects. Must have strong analytical skills with solid design and development skills implementing complex business logic, with experience in converting nested PL/SQL into plain SQL, addressing performance impacts with functional indexes and different types of joins, and using Hints for Query Optimizer. Must have experience performing extensive sql tuning utilizing SQL Trace, TK Prof, Explain plan, V$ views to optimize database and application performance. Experience with design and development of automated text scripts for verification of business logic is a plus.
