University of Minnesota Minneapolis, MN Phone Interview to hire The University of Minnesota's Office of Information Technology (OIT) has an immediate need for a Senior Salesforce Business Analyst. The Analyst is responsible for completing the transition of the University of Minnesota Crookston’s Admissions office and Center for Adult Learning (CAL) into enterprise CRM (Constituent Relationship Management). The successful candidate must be self-motivated and have strong communication skills. Experience with moving student recruitment business processes into Salesforce is preferred. This role will require travel between the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and University of Minnesota Crookston campuses. Some travel expenses will be reimbursed but contractor must provide own car. The duration of the project is expected to be 4 months, with start date as soon as possible. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ● Lead the requirements gathering sessions with the customer and other stakeholders. ● Document as-is Admissions and CAL business processes. ● Identify and understand customer expectations. Act as the primary point of contact for all communication with the customer. ● Create and document new business processes that incorporate existing enterprise CRM functionality for both units. ● Create and maintain all project documentation such as Project plans and Business Process Flows ● Work directly with a Salesforce trainer to determine current knowledge gaps and create customized documentation and training materials. ● Work with minimal direction. ● Work well in fast-paced, team environment. ● Accurately and effectively communicate status to key stakeholders. ● Actively discover, research and make recommendations for process improvement. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: ● BA/BS degree and six years of work experience or eight years of experience with a non-related degree. ● 2 or more years of experience with Salesforce.com ● Ability to balance multiple tasks/initiatives and meet agreed upon deadlines. ● Strong analytical and technical system skills. ● Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
