Developer/QA Location: Boston, MA Duration: 6 months. Phone / Skype Hire The primary role will be analyzing requirements, developing new code and executing test plans and test cases for the HR/CMS application. This position requires gathering and understanding customer's business and technical requirements, determining viable solutions, and working with customers on testing the solution. This individual will develop code, SQR's, and customized objects in an Oracle PeopleSoft 9.2 code base during the initial build of the Upgrade application. This individual will provide QA testing and support; include developing fixes to defects during the UAT and Parallel testing activities. *Duties:* Be a member of a diverse team of individuals who develop, configure, quality assures, and support the Human Resources and Payroll system Upgrade. Solve interesting and challenging problems alongside a great team of engineers and analysts. Develop new skills as you push your knowledge, and our technology, to new levels. The Requirements Experience working with Oracle/PeopleSoft Human Resources and Payroll applications or HR and payroll business functions. Good interviewing and facilitation skills for gathering detailed, comprehensive requirements. Extensive programming experience in the following technologies and languages is highly desired: PeopleTools 8.53, PeopleCode, SQL, SQR, Integration Broker, Application Designer, Application Engine, Security, and Workflow. Experience developing Time and Labor Rules is highly desired. Experience with all phases of testing including unit, system integration, parallel, performance and user acceptance. PeopleSoft upgrade experience utilizing Change Assistant/Upgrade Assistant in an Oracle/UNIX-AIX environment highly desired. Experience in developing and executing test plans and cases is required. Experience in using a query language, such as SQL, is required. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or another relational database management system (Oracle, etc) is desired. Experience in Oracle/PeopleSoft HR/Payroll configuration table setup is desired. Experience with QA Automation, planning and creation of automated scripts is desired. Exposure to the Rational Jazz 2.0 platform (RQM-Rational Quality Manager, RRC-Rational Requirements Composer, RTC-Rational Team Concert) is desired. Experience with a systems development life cycle methodology is desired.
