Kindly respond to this requirement with your consultant resume, contact and current location info to speed up the interview process.* *SQL Server DBA * *Minimum of 6-12 months with likely extensions* *Durham, Oregon* *Rate - $8,000 per month* *REQUIRED SKILLS: * - Current hands-on experience in database administration and support of MS SQL Server 2012/2008R2/2005 in Cluster Server Environments - Experience in RDBMS database design, performance tuning, optimization, backup and recovery in SQL Server 2005/2008/2012 - Direct experience in disaster recovery planning, execution and testing at remote side - Experience using SQL Server Tools, such as DTS, Import/Export Wizard, SQL Server Enterprise Manager, SQL Profiler and SQL Query Analyzer - Experience in database administration activities for DB security (creating logins, users, roles, and assigning permission to them) - Experience performing administrative tasks: database files management, backup/restore, security management, database mirroring, data integration and synchronization - Experience with high availability SQL Server solutions, including Replication Models (Snapshot/Transactional) and SQL Server clustering (Active-Active, Active-Passive) - experience in using SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) - Experience in SQL Server 2005 Reporting Services (SSRS) *RESPONSIBILITIES: * - Manage database security in production environments. - Monitor environments for resource utilizations and to avoid any bottlenecks. - Install and configure SQL 2008 and future instances of SQL in production. - Implement high availability of the various servers using replication/mirroring/SQL Clustering. - Responsible for fine tuning of the databases, troubleshooting, user administration, memory management, and running DBCC. - Assist implementation by running SQL scripts in production. - Install necessary Service Packs for SQL server 2008R2/2012.
