The objective is to present mortgage origination results in a structured, logical format with interactive components allowing end users to measure results of key metrics and identify/interpret significant trends. This position is responsible for the full lifecycle of reporting solutions, including research, design, development, testing, documentation, implementation, training & support for report development projects. Core Responsibilities • Business Intelligence solution design, development and process documentation to produce required reporting and analytics deliverables using Tableau Software • Dashboard development for use in analyzing and predicting channel, region, and site-level performance • Develop/propose solutions to improve the data architecture to align with business needs • Utilize best practices in designs of data architecture and data processing to support dashboards • Mentor team members on Tableau design and development practices • Act as ambassador to the business teams within Mortgage Banking Operations and partner with Mortgage Banking information technology teams • Understand National business metrics and processes for channels, regions, sites, and managerial hierarchies • Act as subject matter expert on data sources, data elements, and data analysis as they relate to the current operation Required Skills/Experience • 3+ years experience in using the Tableau Software Business Intelligence suite (including desktop and server deployment) • Extensive experience designing and implementing dashboard solutions • 7+ years of experience with other Business Intelligence platforms such as Qlikview, Cognos, or Business Objects • Proven mastery of varied data warehouse concepts/methodologies to implement business intelligence solutions • 7+ years experience writing efficient Structured Query Language (SQL) using various SQL-development software packages including Oracle PL/SQL and Teradata • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, Business or related field • Ability to perform data analysis, troubleshoot data integrity issues and trend data analysis • Extensive experience in the development of management reporting and performance analysis techniques • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written • Ability to function well in rapid changing environment • Highly organized and able to manage multiple responsibilities concurrently • Attention to detail is a must • Ability to work effectively in team environment and interact with all levels of management Core Competencies • Intermediate to Advanced Tableau 8 skills • Strong SQL skills (Oracle, Teradata) • Strong math and financial skills; understanding of basic financial/accounting principles • Strong PC skills; expert in Microsoft applications • Ability to work with a sense of urgency and attention to detail; meets deadlines • Strong work ethic; does whatever it takes to get the job done • Demonstrates the ability to handle a multitude of tasks and issues in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment • Ability to work well with people at various professional levels and abilities • Exemplifies an environment focused on quality customer service and production • Maintains the highest standards of honesty, fairness and ethics • Expresses thoughts and ideas clearly and concisely (verbal and written) Additional Desired Skills/Experience • Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica is a plus • Experience in mortgage industry or mortgage loan operations Reporting Lines • Operations Finance Reporting Job Title • Business Intelligence Developer *Thanks and Regards* *Arvind Nagar* *Email- arv...@idctechnologies.com <arv...@idctechnologies.com>* *Direct-408-457-9381 Ext-4008 !!
