Maybe a few more, some off shore Now; strictly Waterfall Moving to: Agile, Automation Description: Major Purpose: •Manage or participate in quality assurance initiatives to assure the quality of and adherence to systems/software product standards, processes and procedures •Tests software and systems for performance integrity •Acts in a leadership role for the performance test team •Reports to Sr. Solutions Delivery Manager •May have direct reports •Tracking and managing of all costs associated with performance testing (software licenses, external consultants, project costs) •Manage day to day operations of performance test team Major Functions: •Provides expert guidance to build upon performance testing and standards to achieve business benefits for all stakeholder groups and focuses on continual process improvement to sustain customer satisfaction •Provides performance consultation to project teams with respect to scope of performance testing, creates comprehensive reports that are delivered to IT and business stakeholders, and makes recommendations based on this analysis •Participates in technical architecture and design discussions to determine performance testing approach and assures the quality of and adherence to system/software product standards processes and procedures •Attains an understanding of business applications, architecture, and underlying components and technologies necessary to ensure systems are performing at acceptable performance and resource utilization levels •Leads performance test management and performance testing resources on the analysis and development of test strategies and plans •Develops and maintains annual performance testing budget and tracks actual costs vs forecasted costs •Advanced knowledge of HP ALM, LoadRunner, SiteScope, JMeter and other related tools, development methodologies and defect management practices •Ability to manage/lead the work activities of a small team of people •Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to use and describe technical information •Good organizational skills coupled with a detail-oriented approach to testing and ability to work collaboratively to resolve problems •Ability to evaluate automation test scripts and test results •Manage or participate in quality assurance initiatives to assure the quality of and adherence to systems/software product standards, processes and procedures Education/Experience: 4 year degree or equivalent experience •8 + years related experience required •2+ years team leadership experience •Direct hands-on experience with performance test simulations, analysis, tuning, and monitoring •Extensive experience analyzing statistics of performance monitoring tools •Financial services experience preferred Additional Job Requirements: •Understanding of performance testing concepts and methodologies •Excellent understanding of system development life cycle and project management lifecycle •Excellent understanding of automation testing process •Quality Assurance Automation experience •Strong knowledge of software development life cycles including waterfall, iterative and agile methodologies •Experience with web services, web enabled applications and/or mobile development *Thanks and Regards* *Arvind Nagar* *Email- **arv...@idctechnologies.com* <arv...@idctechnologies.com> *Direct-408-457-9381 Ext-4008 !!
