*Senior Oracle SOA Developer needs Oracle SOA integration experience* *Location: Portland, OR* *Duration: 6-12 months.* *Local or nearby candidates will get first short**.* *Job Description:* *Job Summary:* The Senior Integration Developer solves technical problems and writes the actual code to build and support KU’s Enterprise Integration needs. The Integration Developer will work with a team of experienced developers and interface with other teams and ensures that designs and quality are meeting KU’s requirements. This role is responsible designing and creating code in an agile fashion. The Software Developer understands ETL, ESB and SOA technology. This person will take the projects from the initiation phase and see it through deployment working alongside other developers. The Integration Software Developer understands the value of the data integration process and the importance of building solutions that matter. Creativity, drive, and initiative are imperative to the success of the Integration Developer at KU. *Responsibilities include:* Implement integration solutions leveraging tools within the Oracle Middleware suite: SOA 11g (ESB, BPEL Process Manager, Web Services Manager, ESB, BPM, BAM,ODI, OSR, and various adapters) Interpret business requirements, create technical artifacts, and determine the most efficient/appropriate solution design. Lead design and development of application components that are standards based, high performance, highly available, comply with operational standards and procedures. Participate in architecture, design, and development of applications built with the Oracle 11g Fusion Middleware technologies, J2EE and web applications Understand the business and customer needs to introduce technical solutions that support the centers and grow the bottom line. Provide support for escalated issues on Oracle SOA Suite, ESB environments. Responsible for the architectural review and approval of application designs and technology selection for projects. Mentor Junior developers and groom them into SOA, ESB integration team *Qualifications: * *Desired Skills & Experience: * BS in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent) with *minimum 9 years of application development* experience or MS in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent) with minimum 7 years of application development experience. *Required Skills: *Strong hands-on experience with Application Integration architecture, including Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Messaging Systems. Working knowledge of various integration design patterns. Hands on Experience working with Oracle ESB, BPEL products Hands-on development expertise in, Java EE, JMS, JSP, JDBC, Spring. Experience building and implementing Enterprise Solutions involving: Application servers - WebLogic in cluster environments Messaging Systems Oracle Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) Oracle, SQL Server Database Linux OS Layer 7 XML Gateway Strong experience in Web Services standards and technologies (e.g. XML, SOAP, WSDL, XSD, UDDI, REST, etc.). Knowledge of XML transformation technologies like XQuery, XSLT etc. Excellent communicate skills, both oral and written.
