*Manual QA Tester - Media Applications* *(Located in Bristol, CT) * 12+ Month Our client, a leading Broadcast & Digital Media company, is seeking a hands-on Manual QA Tester to join their growing team. You'll be responsible for testing multiple internal and consumer-facing Web Applications and must be comfortable working closely with Development teams. As changes are made in the Service Request System, you'll work closely with the Developers to make the changes. You'll also have extensive documentation responsibilities and must be a great communicator. Responsibilities: . Hands-on Manual testing of many in-house applications, including the transition to a customized in-house technology system . Extensive documentation for test cases, test plans, test scripts, and tracking defects . Support changes to major commercial traffic, sales and other Media-focused systems . Monitor the performance of applications under development, and report/fix any issues Required Skills: . 5-10 years hands-on Manual Web Testing experience . 3+ years hands-on SQL experience . EXCELLENT documentation skills are mandatory, as well as test cases and test defects . Experience working with Quality Center and QTP . Preferable experience working in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies .
