Liferay Application Consultant

This is a contract position in Shrewsbury, MA  (6 months+)



Client is looking to develop a Liferay version 6.2 EE application
integrating into a custom Oracle database.
Qualified candidates must have prior relevant experience in the areas
described below.
Key qualifications related to the individual Consultant assigned to perform
services outlined include strong skills in all aspects of Liferay
development.

*Requirements:*

Strong technical knowledge in all technical areas of Liferay 6.2 EE.

Strong understanding of Liferay Theme user interfaces design and
development.

Solid knowledge and experience developing Liferay themes/responsive web
development, Portlets and Java apps.

Senior in Liferay portal development, troubleshooting and architecture.

Strong understanding of web service interfaces.

Availability to deliver on tight deadlines.

Minimum 2+ years’ experience in Liferay Development.

Overall 3+ years of experience in Java/ J2EE technologies.

Experience in frameworks like Bootstrap, HTML 5/CSS3, Velocity, MVC,
Liferay UI tags, etc.

Experience in using SQL and working with Oracle databases

Experience with Linux and Tomcat a plus.
