Position: Sr. Network Analyst Consultant Start Date: asap End Date or Duration: 6+ months, (extension possible) Location(s): St. Louis, MO * We are ONLY looking for LOCAL candidates for this position ** Rates are all-inclusive only. Travel expenses are not reimbursed unless it is travel required outside St. Louis for the project ** Requirements: · Must successfully complete drug screen and background check if selected for project · *5+ years of CISCO Network Analyst work - preferably certified* · *LOCAL TO ST. LOUIS, MO (consider candidates that can interview face-to-face that are relocating from driving distance away - a few hours away, like mid-state IL, Iowa, N. Ark, KC)* 1. Provides technical expertise in the management of the data network 2. Installs, supports and/or maintains LAN, WAN, and wireless networks 3. Interfaces with telecommunications carriers to provision, install, and troubleshoot circuits 4. Maintains network management tools and systems to detect, isolate, and troubleshoot outages 5. Configures and deploys network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, VPN and wireless equipment • Technical Proficiency - Extensive experience with Cisco LAN, WAN, and wireless technologies including routing, switching, routing protocols, network hardware, network management, and network security; Has a command of the OSI model; Developing network design skills. • Analytical Abilities - Advanced problem-solving skills including working collaboratively with peer technical teams to analyze & resolve cross-platform problems or to develop problem-solving techniques, tools & instruction for new or complex technologies • 5+ Years Information Systems Experience / Minimum 5 Years Network Experience Reason for request is increase in volume.
