*Role- Senior Windows Administrator* *Location- Nashville TN* *Duration- 12 months* *Client- Dollar General* Description:- In this role, you’ll be responsible for a variety of delivery and operations tasks including: · Providing Level 3 support and problem resolution. · Monitoring and responding quickly and effectively to service requests. · Serving as escalation point for issue resolution. · Support services for: o Microsoft related technologies: Windows Server, Exchange, Active Directory, Lync, SharePoint, etc. o Virtualization technologies: VMware, Citrix, and Microsoft. Support services for hardware technologies: Intel x86, Cisco UCS, and virtual switching infrastructure. o Network and end user related technologies: DNS, WINS, file shares, logon scripts, group policy, authentication technologies, etc. o Remote access solution support: VPN, Terminal Services and Gateway services, Microsoft Direct Access/UAG, Microsoft TMG reverse proxy, Lync SIP/Federation, and Citrix. · Working with our client’s Service Desk Manager to ensure requests are routed to the proper resource in order to be resolved quickly and efficiently. · Monitoring the remote monitoring and management system alerts and notifications, and respond accordingly. · Serving as a liaison to between level 3 onshore and level 2 offshore to ensure proper support and operational documents and procedures are being followed and updated. · Daily verification of backups and troubleshooting of related issues. · Managing server inventory including provisioning and decommissioning servers in our client’s datacenter and remote locations. · Opening support cases and driving issues to resolution with vendors when needed. · Weekly review of PCI compliance reports and platforms to ensure patching and baseline security compliance. To qualify for consideration, you must meet or exceed the following: The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in the following technologies: · Administering Windows 2008, 2012 server environment. · Microsoft Related Technologies (Exchange 2010/2013, office 365, Lync 2010, SharePoint, SCOM 2007/2012, SCCM 2007/2012 etc.). · Administration of Active Directory and Group Policies. · VMWare, VEEAM Backup & Citrix technologies · Supporting and troubleshooting Intel x86, Cisco UCS and Virtual Switching infrastructure · Network and end user related technologies: DNS, WINS, file shares, logon scripts, group policy, authentication technologies, etc. · Remote access solution support: VPN, Terminal Services and Gateway services, Microsoft Direct Access/UAG, Microsoft TMG reverse proxy, Lync SIP/Federation, and Citrix. · Manage server inventory including provisioning and decommissioning servers in the datacenter and remote locations. · Excellent written and oral communications skills.
