ESRI, ArcGIS, GeoTools, etc. * Java resource should have a well-blended mix of Java based front and back end technologies so that the team can be self-sufficient and cross functional. Candidates must be independent thinkers that will voice their opinions and expertise to improve the product. *Skill* *Summary* *Agile * It is critical that each candidate have a solid background in Agile development to help them understand expectations. *Java * Strong Java skills 5+ years in a web apps environment with a mix of front and back end development abilities. *JUnit * Java unit testing framework *SQL / Oracle* SQL knowledge preferably with Oracle *Spring Core* Used primarily for Inversion Of Control (IOC) capably *Spring MVC* MVC framework used by Monsanto *HTML / CSS / JavaScript* Solid understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript to support front end development activities. *Json / Restful Services* Candidate must have practical experience developing Json based services and Restful services to support SOA architecture. *GIS Knowledge* This resource must either have experience with GIS technologies such as Shapefiles / ESRI formats or be willing to train in these skills after hours.
