BI Developer/Analyst Duration: 6 months+ Location: Boston, MA Local candidates are ideal. Or someone that can interview in-person Desired: · Familiarity with the privacy and security laws governing HIPPA data · Familiarity with development life cycle and Agile methodologies a plus · Familiarity with standard project management methodologies and implementations · Familiarity with managing service levels offered by SaaS and e-discovery vendors · Experience in data modeling and dashboard design best practices · Experience managing vendors · Experience in data architecture and with reporting solutions The *Senior Business Intelligence Analyst* will work with senior- and executive-level staff to: · Understand business priorities, strategic goals and supporting performance indicators · Identify and/or develop clear, relevant and easy-to-understand KPI measures that focus attention on desired results · Systemically gather, monitor and analyze measures that show whether or not strategic programs are successful · Evaluate and design approaches, based on priority goals and measures, that will allow them to quickly identify and pro-actively mitigate potential barriers · Manage the design and development of user-specific dashboards that combine information on key performance measures to support performance analysis and action plans for performance improvement · Understand and implement performance-strategies that align with their business approach · Create a performance-management strategic plan and to allocate resources based on those strategies that work Qualifications Required: · Minimum of ten years in information technology or related responsibilities with at least three years of direct project management experience on executive-level business intelligence projects. · Demonstrated experience with requirements definition; project plan development; risk management; scheduling and estimating; resource management; communications management; quality assurance, etc. · Ability to collect, synthetize and articulate requirements via individual and group discovery discussions and produce output detailed enough to identify and evaluate build options. · Must have excellent human relations, communications and analysis skills, planning and organizational proficiency and sound business judgment. · Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed organization and to "manage without authority · Must be familiar with IT business practices and be able to interface and integrate with state technology organization functional areas. · Ability to understand and follow sometimes complex oral and written instructions · Excellent understanding of data security and privacy · Program/Project Management experience for large scale, cross organizational based projects · Ability to manage and deliver on multiple threads within aggressive timelines and shifting priorities · Proficient at office tools such as Microsoft Project and Office Suite, spreadsheets and producing simple reports and presentations.
