*Job Title: - Sr. Linux Systems Administrator (with data center)* *Location: - Santa Clara, CA* *Duration: 6 Months* *Job description* As part of the Client *Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)* Practice team, the Senior Systems Administrator will be the key technical resource to ensure maximum up time, security, and scalability for hosted network environment. The Senior Systems Administrator will be the senior member of the IT Hosted Operations and Support team. The Senior Systems Administrator will work to improve the hosted infrastructure, support new product rollouts, and write tools to monitor systems in a scalable, elegant and maintainable manner. In addition, the Senior Systems Administrator will also be the Systems subject matter expert to design, implement and improve the Information Security policies and procedures. Principal Duties And Essential Responsibilities Act as the technical lead architect to help enhance the scalability, redundancy, maintainability, and uptime of our hosted solution; Work with hosted service provider to manage the daily operations of network and infrastructure, including backups, network security, maintenance, monitoring, and tuning; Responsible for executing and managing new client setups as well as in-place upgrades and new releases; Help design and document operational policies, procedures and network diagrams; Design and enhance network architecture and processes to support Information Security and Data Privacy program; Be a part of the on-call rotation for 24x7 support. *Minimum Requirements* · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field or equivalent education and work experience; · *5+ years experience in hosting and/or production data center operations;* · *3+ years experience* with Linux systems administration; · Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and parallel projects; · Excellent organization, time management, and project leadership skills; · Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills; · Successful completion of background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, and SS verification; · Successful completion of credit check and drug test also required for roles, like this, which require working with sensitive customer PII data. *Preferred Requirements* · *Certification in Unix/Linux administration; * · Knowledge of *Linux and common UNIX daemons (httpd, nfs, sshd, smtp, cron, etc*); · Experience in scripting languages like bash, Python, Perl; · Experience *with Virtualization (VMWare, KVM, etc)* and *configuration management (e.g. SALT);* · Experience administering web servers (e.g., Apache, Nginx) and Database (e.g,, Postgres); · Experience managing storage devices such as SAN and NAS; · Experience with *Network Routing and Switching, in particular with Cisco hardware;* · Experience with *Network security including firewalls, intrusion detection (IDS), vulnerability, penetration testing and threat mitigation*; · Experience with platform and application monitoring tools like Nagios; · Experience with trouble ticketing and bug tracking systems *like Zendesk, JIRA etc* -- *Thanks & Regards * *Rugen Nagar* R Systems Inc 5000,Windplay Drive,El Dorado Hills,CA 95762 Desk no: *916-692-3594* Fax: 916-939-6337 [CMMi & PCMM Level 5 Company] ISO 27001 |Six Sigma Web*:* www.rsystems.com [image: cid:image001.png@01CF57D3.4811B630] *YIM/GTalk --> rugender.rgtalent* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP-UK" group.
