Primary skillsets should revolve around *mobile development (Android) as well as web development (HTML, JavaScript and CSS).* The candidate should have real world experience using these technologies and be able to describe clearly their past use of these technologies as well as answer technical questions related to these technologies. The candidate should also be independent and enthusiastic when it comes to technology and have interest in pursuing and learning new skills. The Developer will work cross-functionally with other team members within and outside the Advanced Technology & Sandbox Development group to deliver cutting-edge solutions. Strong communication and inter-personal skills a must. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant technical discipline. Excellent communication and inter-personal skills Ability to clearly articulate complex problems and deliver internal demonstrations Knowledgeable of SCRUM and agile development with experience working on an agile development team is a plus Experience in software development using Java, Objective C, C, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS. Basic knowledge of network protocols such as TCP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP. Practical approach for designing efficient and intuitive UI is a plus. Experience working with embedded devices (PLC, OCS, DSP, FPGA, Raspberry PI, Arduino) is a plus. Experience in low level BLE development for IOS and Android. Experience in Python scripting, JSON, SQL. Experience developing apps for Android. Experience working with short range communication protocols like Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on mobile devices a plus. Experience with Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) Interest for solving complex and unusual problems. Must be able to learn and adapt to the ever-changing needs of the business. Experience working with Linux, Mac OSX and Windows a plus.
