*Position:- Network Security Engineer* *Location:- NYC, NY or Bethlehem, PA* *Duration:- 6+ Months* *MOI:- Telephonic + Face 2 Face * *Main requirements are:* · *Checkpoint Firewalls* · *BuleCoat URL Filtering* · *AWS (Amazon web services) Experience or someone who has worked in an AWS environment.* *Knowledge, skills and abilities required: * · *This role requires solid design and implementation experience on Checkpoint FW/IPS R75/R77 Gaia, and Cisco ASA Firewalls (CSM).* · Proxy experience with Bluecoat or others a plus, as well as Cisco SSL VPN, Clean Access and ACS. · As a member of the IT Security team, this individual will manage security policies in physical and virtualized data centers, and assist with security incident investigations. · Role requires advanced knowledge of networking and communication protocols along with deep packet analysis. · *Experience with migrations of both physical and virtualized data centers a plus, as well as knowledge of Amazon Cloud (AWS) security architecture.* · *Experience with firewall analyzer tools to perform policy optimization, risk analysis and change monitoring.* · Solid troubleshooting skills, good communications skills both written and oral, ability to multitask in a fast, dynamic environment. · Good team player, willing to work weekends occasionally and willing to be on call as needed. · Ability to work independently and with limited guidance, ability to identify problems and resolve collaboratively with other functional teams and business partners · Advanced understanding of common IT security controls and protocols. · Checkpoint Firewall certification preferred, but not required.
