*Our Client, located in Dallas, TX is in need of 2 Splunk Engineers for a 6
month role working with a good chance of extension. The Engineers will be
joining a technical team to help design, implement and configure Splunk
based applications into the environment so that the Client has better
visibility into their organization through reports and dashboards that the
engineers will ultimately provide.*
*Required Skills:*
- 3-5 years of current experience with Splunk
- Experience with both Unix and Windows ; comfortable on the command
line interface
- Strong knowledge or recent experience with scripting languages (bash),
- Strong experience with Log Management/Data Consumption
- Ability to prepare reports and dashboards for Client
- Strong consultative skills with strong communication with both
technical and non-technical consumers (IT admins to Executive level
stakeholders
*Desired Skills:*
- Statistical and analytical modeling
- Splunk Certifications
- Experience/Working Knowledge of application development (java, python,
.NET), databases and analytical tools
