Oracle Reports Developer Location: Latham, NY Duration: 12 months initial contract with probable extension. Client prefers face to face interviews if the person cannot do an in person interview I will require a copy of a photo ID to be submitted with the resume and a video interview will be required. . Position Overview · Codes, tests, debugs, implements, and documents programs using Oracle tools and Visual Studio. · Analyzes, designs and writes specifications for programs and procedures. Creates appropriate documentation in work assignments such as program code, and technical documentation. Designs systems and programs to meet complex business needs. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs are developed and coded. · Ensures programs meet standards and technical specifications; performs technical analysis and component delivery. · Gathers information from existing systems, analyzes program and time requirements. Develops test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs. Conducts quality assurance activities such as peer reviews. · Evaluates work products to assess quality and reports findings. Researches alternative solutions to problems, determines proper approaches, makes verbal and/or written recommendations to appropriate parties and implements solutions. Implements recommendations as approved. · Participates in technical reviews and inspections to verify intent of change' is carried through the entire project. · Tests the application/reports for conformance to requirements Mandatory · Minimum 3+ years programming in Microsoft and Oracle environment. · Minimum 3+ years of PL/SQL experience · Expert level SQL experience · Minimum 1+ years in SSRS or Oracle Reports · Must have strong analytical and communication skills · Must be capable to work independently to arrive upon technical solutions Desired · Experience in Team Foundation Server (TFS).
