*Title: Application Developer Analyst* *Location: Reston, VA* *Duration: 9 month* *Phone and face to face Key Job Functions & Duties*: Will be required to own the processes for the enhancements of applications running on heterogeneous platforms (Hardware and Operating system) from a business perspective. This includes understanding the business requirements and related documents & managing the implementation of an optimal solution from a business perspective. Act as primary liaison between the business units and Enterprise Infrastructure support teams to come up with a reliable, repeatable cost effective solution. Participate with team of technical staff and business managers or practitioners in the business unit to determine systems requirements and functionalities needed in large/complex development project. Assess and develop high level design requirements for project and communicate in writing or in meetings with development team. Assess detailed specifications against design requirements. Review coding done to advance application upgrade, extension, or other development. Analyze application for data integrity issues. Develop test protocols or plan for testing revised application and review test results. Serve as project lead or lead technical staff in course of application development project Manage the designing process and procedural activities related to environment implementation and needs to be part of a larger group to provide a simple, speedy and cost effective environment build solution. Communicating the vision and direction of CSP Integration environment needs effectively to other teams *Qualifications:* Position requires 6+ years of in-depth working knowledge of Solaris, and Linux platforms. 8+ years of experience with all areas of the Systems Development Life Cycle from a business unit perspective. Strong development/technical skills in Java, JavaScript, Spring Core, Spring MVC, Hibernate, Web Services (REST/SOAP) is a must Hands-on experience with front-end UI technologies like AJAX, JavaScript, JQuery, Backbone.js, JSON is desired. Experience with Spring Integration, TcServer, Maven, Nexus, Jenkins, SOA, SVN, Clear Quest, Oracle, and Mockit is a plus. Understanding application environment needs and translating into infrastructure specifications is a plus Strong problem solving skills in troubleshooting issues and maintenance of webservice applications on Server side using Java, TIBCO ESB, Business Works, Apache Tomcat, Maven, Spring, XML, JSON, SOAP and Eclipse. Strong knowledge and experience of Service Oriented Architecture is required. An excellent written and verbal communication skill, including ability to develop and deliver presentation to Senior Management is desired.
