*Role- Apple MacOS Integration Engineer (CSE 3)* *Location- Beaverton OR or Portland OR or Renton WA* *Duration- 6+ months* *Local is highly preferred. * *Description;-* PH&S is looking for a CSE contractor to join our team to contractor to support our efforts to begin providing in-house support of PH&S owned Apple MacOS devices. We will pilot this process on about 150 devices in use in an existing department within the organization. Below is a bulleted list (focused on MacOS devices) of what PH&S sees as in scope for this effort: 1. Integrating existing and future devices into existing Active Directory domains 2. Development of knowledge base documentation for Help Desk and Field Technicians related to common Mac support issues 3. Development of a solution, training, and documentation on providing remote support 4. Development of a solution, training, and documentation on enterprise software deployments to include deployment of specific productivity *applications for the pilot group:* a. Microsoft Office b. Microsoft Lync c. Adobe Creative Suite d. Potentially a few others 5. Assistance with implementing enterprise client management and security tools with a desire of integrating with existing, standard PH&S tools where possible. Current PH&S standards in these areas are; Microsoft SCCM, CA Service Manager, Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1, Dameware Mini Remote Control, and Symantec Endpoint Encryption 11. In areas where existing, standard tools will not work, provide assistance with product selection criteria and implementation of selected tools. Areas that need to be addressed include: a. Anti-Virus software b. Encryption software and management c. Centralized policy management (i.e. Windows Group Policy) d. Centralized patching e. Software deployment f. Asset inventory g. Remote access *The following items/work are considered out of scope:* • Personally owned Mac devices • iOS devices • Mac Servers Travel - Must possess valid driver license and reliable personal vehicle. Must be able to travel by a variety of modes of efficient transportation to all PHS sites within scope of assignment. Knowledge of Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) and ability to create scripts utilizing WMI. Knowledge of compiled languages and ability to create internal tools/utilities with these languages.
