SQL Server DBA

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL – Locals to Florida only
Estimated Duration: 6 months with possible extension


Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

·         Provide SQL Server DBA support on approximately 150 Production
instances of SQL Server and 50 instances of SQL Server in Test /
Development;

·         Create new SQL Servers instances, under VMware, as needed;

·         Support custom-built HETG Data Warehouse environment, as needed;

·         Audit Security to ensure appropriate access is being provided;

·         Install Software patches / service packs, as needed.

 Requirements:

·         Experience in Database Administration, Design Development and
Support of MS SQL Server (4+years);

·         Experience in using SQL Server Tools like DTS, Import/Export
Wizard, SQL Server Enterprise Manager, SQL Profiler and SQL Query Analyzer;

·         Experience in Disaster Recovery Planning;

·         Migration experience from MS SQL Server 2005 to 2008 (2008 R2)
and MS SQL 2008 to 2012;

·         Experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services);

·         Experience with SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services);

·         Knowledge of OLTP/OLAP technologies;

·         Bachelor’s degree in information systems or formal technical
training required.
