*Title: **ETL /abinito Developer* *Duration: 6+ Months * *Location: Lincolnshire, IL* *Interview: TELEPHONIC+SKYPE* *Max rate for this position is $44/hr on c2c* Role ETL /abinito Developer Mandatory Technical Skills •Design, develop, unit test and deploy Ab Initio components and miscellaneous technical components. •Ensure Ab Initio codes base is appropriately engineered to maintain current functionality and development adheres to performance optimization, interoperability standards and requirements, and compliance with client IT governance policies. •6-8 years of hands –on application development experience using Ab Initio is required •Interacts with business analysts and prospective application managers in order to gather requirements, performs implementations and guides production rollouts while creating highly optimized batch & real-time applications and ensuring the overall success of their programs. •Contributes to the technical design documents, Use Cases, test cases and User Manuals for various projects. •Conducts bug fixing, code reviews, and unit, functional and integration testing. •Using workflow charts and diagrams, write, analyze, review, and rewrite programs. •Conduct database programming, performance tuning, relational model analysis and data migration. •Conducts data warehousing dimensional design patterns and fundamentals and demonstrates experience in leveraging various Ab Initio components to develop complex batch and continuous graphs. •Conducts database programming, performance tuning, relational model analysis and data migration. •Make appropriate changes and recheck the program to ensure that the desired results are produced. •Prepare trial runs of programs and software applications to be sure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct. •Interfaces support teams to define operational processes and procedures. •Ensure Ab Initio codes base is appropriately engineered to maintain current functionality and development adheres to performance optimization, interoperability standards and requirements, and compliance with client IT governance policies. •Provides technical design documents, Use Cases, test cases and writes User Manuals for various projects. Conducts bug fixing, code reviews, and unit, functional and integration testing. •Acts as liaison to clients on highly technical and complex requests and serves as a technical advisor to other junior team members. Provide input, support and review estimates. Desirable Technical Skills •Experience in Requirements Engineering, Solution Architecture, Design, Development and Deployment •A broad set of technical skills and knowledge across hardware, software, systems and solutions development and a across more than one technical domain. •Demonstrated experience in real world IT or other solutions environments including creating (on your own or with a team) IT solutions •Strong communication skills including representing your company in industry standards organizations or industry technical forums •Strong technical team leadership, mentorship and collaboration. •Prefer knowledge of Ab Initio CO >OP 3.0.4, EME 3.0.4, Oracle 11G R2, SQL Developer 3.0.05 Build Main 04.34 and Microsoft Office 2007-10.
