*Title: **Network Security* *Duration: 12+ Months * *Location: Chicago, IL * *Interview: TELEPHONIC+Face2Face* High Priority- Sr. Network Security Engineer*, ASA, Firewalls, Nexus, Routers/Switches* *Job Requirements* *Sr. Engineer, Network Security* *Description* The Sr. Engineer, Network Security position will be a member of the Shared Services Technology Plan / Build team, and will be responsible for Network Security Engineering including the hands-on engineering and implementation of Baxalta’s perimeter infrastructure devices. *In this role, the right candidate must have* · The ability to physically deliver and support complex technology solutions · Provided guidance and technical consulting in support of large scale network security implementation projects · Defined and documented technology standards that meet business standards *Essential Duties and Responsibilities* · Implement multiple concurrent infrastructure solutions in support of several businesses and/or functions · Strong hands on engineering level expertise of Security DMZ and border security architecture · Resolve complex problems, participate in strategy discussions, and manage technical components of a project · Interface with IT and business customers to understand requirements and develop technical solutions that support business goals · Work with information security leadership, help to develop strategies and plans to enforce security requirements and address identified risks · Engineer solutions for new and existing data center projects and make recommendations to expand services and functionality · Ability to work independently and as part of global team · Experience with Visio programs to create detailed physical and logical network diagrams *Qualifications* · *A strong technical background in all areas of network security infrastructure including firewalls, IPS/IDS VPN, certificate authorities (CA) and content filtering* · Worked effectively with business units and customers translating their requirements into technical solutions · *An in depth knowledge of Cisco routers, ASA firewalls, Catalyst and Nexus switches, IPS (Sourcefire), Lancope, and FireEye* · Strong oral and written communication skills · Strong problem solving, analytical and documentation skills · *10+ years of IT infrastructure experience including 5+ years of network security* · A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent experience · *Cisco Certifications and/or CISSP preferred* · *F5 experience a plus* *Thanks & Rega**rds* *Sr. Technical Resource Specialist* *214-628-5329\ nik...@vastika.com <nik...@vastika.com>* *1200 W Walnut Hill Ln.
