*Title: **QA Manager* *Duration: 6+ Months * *Location: **Torrance, CA* *Interview: TELEPHONIC+FACE2FACE* *Client: **Toyota* *Job Requirements* Resource is evaluated on his/her ability to interface professionally with project teams, identify and analyze quality risks, determine the test approach, determine test project scope, prepare time estimates, facilitate and manage the project testing schedule, prepare and facilitate the implementation of test plans, and manage the outsource testing vendors. * SKILLS REQUIRED/“Must Haves”:* Experience with the following on large scale projects: - Monitoring a QA team involved Financial or Banking environments. - Develop Test approaches / strategies / plan for large scale projects - Determining Testing scope & preparing Test design, planning activities/ tasks - Performing thorough review of Business requirements, Function specification & provide feedback - Identifying and analyzing quality risks in Web, Mainframe, Infrastructure upgrade related applications - Hands-on experience with Manual testing and knowledge of Performance testing - Preparing and managing the project testing schedule & quality of deliverables - Facilitating and coordinating with multiple teams - Managing defects in Test environment & perform root cause analysis when required - Preparing, managing time estimates and fixed bid deliverables (SOW & Work Order) - Reviewing Test vendor/supplier deliverables and providing feedback and direction - Assessing Risk to schedule, cost, or quality on project and testing engagement - Ability to handle 2-4 projects/work streams in various stages at the same time - Ability to react to changing project plans and come up with alternative options - Ability to work in a collaborative “team-oriented” environment - Excellent communication (written, verbal) - Organizational and planning skills - Analytical, Reasoning and Soft skills *SKILLS DESIRED/“Nice to Haves”:* Experience with any of the following would be a plus: - Loan origination / loan servicing experience - Automotive Finance experience - Data Warehouse testing - Application Interface testing - Middleware (Tibco) – understand concept and how to test it - Rules Engine – understand concept and how to build scenarios around it - Knowledge / Experience in use of Mercury/HP QTP, Load Runner, Quality Center or other QA tools *Thanks & Rega**rds* *Sr. Technical Resource Specialist* *214-628-5329\ nik...@vastika.com <nik...@vastika.com>* *1200 W Walnut Hill Ln.
