Core responsibilities include user interaction design, analyzing and documenting business requirements, communicating your design motivations/decisions to various stakeholders, helping to create and document UX standards, and working in a professional manner within a matrixed team to achieve project goals. *Position Requirements:* • Bachelor’s Degree in User-centered design, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field or relevant experience. • 6+ years of professional design experience, including user experience design of web applications. Mobile application experience is a strong plus. • 6+ years’ experience in systems analysis and design with proven record of successful large scale project implementations • Professional portfolio to accompany resume • Effective communication skills both written and verbal with IT and business users. • Solid understanding of new and emerging UX/UI design best practices • Knowledge of typography, color theory, spatial relations and proportion • Well-versed in web optimization and ins-and-outs of JPEG, GIF, and PNG formats • Advanced knowledge of cross-browser compatibility • Demonstrated experience with responsive design and design for the mobile platform. • Solid working experience with appropriate design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Balsamiq • Attention to detail a must • Must be self-motivated, proactive and able to utilize time allotted efficiently *Responsibilities for this position will include, but not be limited to:* • Work closely with the Project Manager and team leads to ensure the development of world-class websites, portals and mobile applications. • Collaboration with Solution Architects to solve complex UX problems with elegance and simplicity. • Development of wireframes for desktop, tablet and mobile platforms to visually depict screen flow, navigation, and interaction for optimal user experience. • Document functional requirements, system design specifications, use cases, workflow diagrams, wireframes, reports, and interface designs that fulfill business needs.
