Senior Application Administrator– SAP BASIS Phoenix, AZ 6 Months Contract Phone Hire *ONLY GC/USC/EAD GC* Our Information Technology division consists of more than 170 professionals and continues to grow responsibly. The Information Technology Infrastructure Department is looking to add a Senior Application Administrator- BASIS to their current team. The position is responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of the BASIS component of SAP systems and will assist in the planning, designing and architecture of SAP systems. *Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * • Provides comprehensive SAP BASIS support for the enterprise. • Performs application installations and documentation of the environment. • Provides guidance and leadership in the areas of issue troubleshooting and resolutions, maintenance, SAP security technologies and system architecture/ product roadmap design. • Participates in the project planning and delivery, production support, monitoring, SAP Software upgrades, support packs and performance tuning of SAP Environments, ensuring the efficient and secure operation of the SAP systems. • Responsible for transport management, system refreshes and client copies. • Provides technical support for integrating SAP with various internal applications. • Researches and implements solutions for BASIS functionality in the areas of performance monitoring, tuning, and system configuration. • Works across functional support areas to tune SAP Applications for optimal performance. • Evaluates enterprise-wide SAP application systems and develop detailed analysis reports and recommendations for business critical systems. • Participates in 24x7 SAP BASIS on-call rotation support. • Creates documentation for internal support teams. • Maintains a commitment to providing outstanding customer service to each customer. • Adheres to ITIL guidelines and procedures for delivering quality solutions which are defect-free, meet company standards and customer requirements. • Other duties may be assigned. *Qualifications:* • This position requires 7-10 years related experience with knowledge of SAP. • Experience in configuring and implementing SAP Solution Manager and BPM functionality is necessary. • Microsoft applications and computer hardware knowledge is required.
