Role: Senior Mobile Software Engineer (phonegap and ionic) Location: San Diego, CA Duration: 6 Months Interview: Will hire from a phone screen *What we need to focus on going forward: We need candidates that can use web technologies to develop mobile apps, leveraging hybrid mobile app frameworks (such as Java, Phonegap, Nativescript, Appcelerator, Ionic, Titanium, etc.). Need someone that understands the "base" mobile app framework(s) so that they can create/convert it to the mobile application.* * PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:* This is a midlevel position with responsibility and accountability for programming and delivering modules for implementation of new mobile capabilities for parts of Connected Product eco system. Areas of focus include: systems technical design, programming, testing, implementation, performance management and with ongoing maintenance. This person will work with couple of agile product owners and solution architect in envisaging and delivering solutions for Energy Optimization for complex turbomachinery. Candidate will also help with rapid proto type development and taking concepts to production This candidate will primarily be designing/developing hybrid mobile apps and/or mobile web apps in HTML 5/Phonegap/Javascript frameworks, bring in industry best practices to accomplish above. Will also work with other high performant teams in accomplishing organizational and team goals. This person is expected to be a full stack developer for hybrid mobile app development, meaning, work with multiple layers of software design for implementation.
