Long term project (4+ years)* *Job Description:* Looking for an experienced Web Developer who specializes in the .NET platform with emphasis in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web API, AJAX, and JScript Frameworks to join the development team. The candidate should have experience with latest technologies that are part of the Web 2.0 paradigm, RIA (Rich Internet Applications), specifically AJAX, Asynchronous programming patterns, client JavaScript framework libraries, like jQuery and AngularJS. *Primary Responsibilities:* • Should have a good grasp of Agile engineering practices(test driven development, continuous integration, pair programming, etc.)and work well in in Agile environment to be able to produce deliverables enhancements and changes on a short notice. • The ideal candidate should be a team player, working on projects shared between multiple developers as well as have an ability to work independently on assigned tasks and projects. • As a developer, the candidate is expected to interact (in many cases remotely) with other team members, attend meetings, share ideas. • Be able to analyze and closely follow Business requirements and system development specifications. • Assist in problem solving and troubleshooting, production support and maintenance of applications. • Should be comfortable with both server side and client side technologies. • The developer will be accountable for delivery of superior solutions on-time, and on budget. Work on multiple initiatives simultaneously. *Skills and Knowledge:* • Object Oriented Fundamentals, Principals and Patterns • Microsoft .NET C# (version 3.5 / 4.0 / 4.5) (mandatory) • .NET MVC (3/4/5) (Mandatory) and WEBAPI (Preferred) • LINQ (highly preferred) • jQuery with JavaScript (mandatory) • Experience with jQuery UI Widgets (highly preferable) • JS Libraries (Angular – highly preferred), Backbone, Knockout • OOP Principles including JS OOP • Reporting Tools (SAP Business Objects/Crystal Reports) • SQL / PSQL with Oracle (preferred) • HTML 5 • XML, XPath, XML Schema • ADO.NET, Entity Framework (Preferred) • SOAP, Web Services • CSS /3 including CSS inheritance • Knowledge of secure programming • Knowledge of Cerificates and SSL (Some degree of administration is desirable). *Education and Experience:* • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution.
