*Sr. Linux Engineer * *Location: Scarborough, MA*
*Length:3+ Months* *No h1B* *Skype!!* Provides experienced technical resource for internal/external staff performing design, analysis, engineering and performance tuning activities for x86 Linux platform operating systems (SLES, RHEL). Strong focus on code generation and automation procedures. Duties and Responsibilities: - Provides in depth technical expertise in RHEL/SLES with focus on code generation (Bash/Python) and automation under the direction of the Principle engineer. - Provide technical resource for Principle engineer in multiple project tracks. - Implements solutions to fix current known issues and any issues arising during project discovery work. - Creates/Maintains tooling required for platform creation/maintenance and transitions to operating partners. - Implements best practices for target Operating Systems. - Create, maintain and update Knowledge/Design documentation with information for support and operational teams. - Works with support/operational teams to ensure they receive direction where necessary.
