Please do let me know if you have suitable candidate for this position *Position : *Java UI Developer *Location: *King of Prussia, PA *Duration: *6+ Months Contract *Phone then F2F* *No H-1B* *Responsibilities:* - Work with project teams and stakeholders to develop technical design specifications based on functional requirements and solutions to meet business requirements relative to the financial services industry; specifically focused on tax related initiatives. - Analyze new user requirements and turn them into workable user interfaces from a user experience perspective; and evaluate existing user interfaces and develop and implement improvements to them. - Design, implement, test, maintain various applications; troubleshoot and resolve production application issues. - Develop and maintain a customer-focused relationship with business stakeholders and other IT areas by exhibiting a high level of collaboration, timely communication and responsiveness. *Required Skills:* - Minimum of 5-7 years of User Interface (UI) software development experience. - Extensive experience in working with business stakeholders to analyze and design optimum user interfaces; including knowledge of graphic design. - Very strong development experience with HTML5, ECMA Script, CSS and associated frameworks. - Strong object-oriented analysis and design skills - Experience with an object-oriented programming language, preferably Java - Experience with most of the following: Angular JS 1.x; RESTful services and JSON; SQL; web services (i.e. Tomcat or WebSphere). - Experience with Windows and Linux operating environments. - Experience working in SCRUM methodology; including experience with JIRA and Confluence. - Excellent verbal, written, relationship building, and client-facing communications skills; must be able to clearly communicate across a cross functional team – with development, end users, project managers, and analysts. · Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail. · Ability to take concepts and turn them into technical solutions that solve business problems. · Highly motivated self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and work ethic. - Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced, dynamic environment. - Financial services industry experience, specifically in accounting and/or tax is a plus.
