I have following requirement, please reply me back with profile along with rate expectation *Oracle Application DBA* *Location: Houston, TX* *Length: 6 months* *Interview: phone* *Rate: $45/hr* Application DBA with Experience working on large data sets Analysis and query optimization, Oracle Job Scheduling. The DBA will perform the daily care and feeding for Oracle Database environment; backup/recovery/performance monitoring and tuning/security. Troubleshoot daily program problems. Analyze and create programs to streamline production jobs. Daily responsibilities will involve database infrastructure management, monitoring and optimizing the overall performance of Oracle database and working with the Application Development teams. Requirements: 1. Must have 5 yrs of Oracle Application DBA production support & operations on 11g , 10g and RMAN, OEM: a. Solid understanding of Oracle RAC experience in a production environment including: b. Database software installation, upgrade, and configuration c. Defining and implementing physical database layout (both on disk and within the database) d. Develop scripts for database task scheduling, monitoring and maintenance e. Database monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting f. Managing database security, roles, and profiles g. Managing database growth, data purging/archiving h. Managing database backups and recovery planning i. Executing disaster recovery plans j. Problem prevention, detection, and correction 2. Golden Gate experiences would be a plus. 3. Knowledge of Oracle Application Server is a plus. 4. Knowledge of Oracle Forms and Reports is a plus. 5. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization. 6.
