Hello!!!

Let me know if you have any consultant for the below requirement ASAP.

Role: PeopleSoft HCM/Financials

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Duration: Long Term

Rate: $50 /hr

Statement of Work (SOW):

Assist the City of Minneapolis BIS Application Support area to address the
project to eliminate multiple Business Units (reduce from 2 to 1) in our
PeopleSoft applications:

*       Human Capital Management (HCM),
*       ELM (Enterprise Learning Management),
*       Financials (FMS), and
*       EPM (Enterprise Performance Management).

(It is anticipated that little, if any, work will be required for ELM and
EPM.)

Specific deliverables with measurable outcomes that will be accomplished
through this scope:

. Do investigation and determine the scope of changes needed to
eliminate multiple Business Units.

. Recommend a course of action or multiple courses of action to
eliminate multiple Business Units.

. Create a Project Plan with work effort (for both functional and IT
areas) and calendar estimates for the project.

. (After the above items are delivered and the City has selected its
course of action, the City may issue a second SOW for assistance with
implementing the selected course of action through completion of all
portions of the project.)

Skills & Abilities:

. Deep knowledge of the PeopleSoft Human Capital Management 8.9 and
Financials 9.0 applications, configuration, software products, and
performance toolsets

. Specific knowledge of PeopleSoft Business Unit's functionality,
processing, and data structures.

. Specific Knowledge of PeopleTools, PeopleCode, etc.

Timeline:

1. The HCM application was implemented with just one Business
Unit (Minneapolis).

2. When Financials was implemented 1/1/2008, decision was
made to implement with a second Business Unit for Boards and Agencies
(Other).

3. HCM was then updated to have 2 Business Units and past
history was converted to two Business Units.

4. Determined after 2 years of experience, that there is
little, if any, benefit to having two Business Units, and instead the
multiple processing is an added burden. The functional area would like to
revert back to just one Business Unit.

Current situation:

1. The City wants to revert back to one Business Unit, with
conversion of needed information and deletion of information no longer
needed.

2. The City needs to produce financial and other history for
reporting, auditor, and other required record keeping.

3. The City wants this done as soon as possible to reduce the
work effort now needed to process with multiple Business Units.

4. The City would have ideally done this at a
calendar/financial yearend (both are 12/31), but that was not possible, so
research is being done to determine how this change can best be done during
the middle of a year.

5. The City would like to spend as little effort as possible
to revert back to one Business Unit.

The City's Applications environment is:

PeopleSoft:

Human Capital Management 8.9, Bundle 12, PeopleTools 8.47

ELM 9.0, Bundle 15, PeopleTools 8.48

Financials 9.0, Bundle 16, PeopleTools 8.49

EPM 9.0, Bundle 10, PeopleTools 8.49
