Position: Informatica Developer 6+
Location: Los Angeles Looking for a data warehouse engineer with a well rounded skill set including data warehouse design, optimization and development. They will be responsible for ETL (extract, transform and load ) design, development and support for moving huge data volumes from source systems into the Data Warehouse after significant cleansing, transformation and processing. They must have expertise in using Informatica ETL tool. Will be required to document and improve existing systems. Experience with MicroStrategy reporting tool will be a plus Job Requirements • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related experience • At least 7+ years of demonstrated experience in Informatica ETL design and development • Advanced SQL and PL/SQL development skills • Design, implement and understand Dimensional Models/query tools and Metadata Repositories • Experience with various architectural and methodological approaches in BI infrastructure development, including star-schema modeling, ODS development, conceptual and logical modeling • Experience with large data warehouses and fine-tuning ETL design in Oracle environments • Required to have good understanding of data warehouse fundamentals • Excellent communication and documentation skills required. • Strong Unix Shell Scripting experience • Experience with end-user analysis tools; (Business Objects, Microstrategy, Cognos) highly desirable • Experience with MicroStrategy reporting tool will be a plus -- Thanks & Regards Naveen Maripax LLC E-Mail: nav...@maripax.com URL: www.maripax.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
