Working knowledge of Solution Manager – Change Request Management functionality (Solution Manager provides many functionalities, ChaRM is one of the functionality – can be compared as being a module in an ERP system). The person should understand the business processes offered by this functionality and how these work. Additionally understanding of release management concepts is desirable. 2. Knowledge of synchronization process to systems without transport path (In case of charm it is called Retrofit) – Knowledge of charm retrofit functionality, customizing synchronization (used for synchronizing config TRs) and ABAP knowledge in terms of source code/version comparisons, working with split screen editors for workbench retrofits etc. 3. SAP Code inspector – This area would need a person with ABAP knowledge to work on Clients custom requirement. 4. Retrofit/ChaRM issues – would need complete understanding of the ChaRM/Retrofit functionality of Solution Manager to be able to resolve the issues.
