The job involves, UI and app development, enhancing user experience in planned enhancement phases, troubleshooting application and data issues in the application and level 2 and 3 production support. Supporting production roll-out working with internal release engineering, infrastructure engineering, Quality Control and testing team. Tasks and Responsibilities: Endeca IAP 6.x Analytics package development experience Development experience in Endeca Workbench, Endeca developer studio, EAC Development experience in unix shell scripts to design and troubleshoot back end baselining and partial update scripts Development experience in using Endeca IAP java sdk Development experience with DOJO toolset, Corda charting server. WebLogic JSF Portlet Sr. Developer (Nice to have) Managing priorities across several projects Mentoring junior developers Analyzing and designing for new work requests Analyzing, designing, coding, building, debugging and migrating JEE applications. Creating and maintaining supporting documentation. Written and verbal communication of assignment status. Trouble shooting application and environment issues. Performing and aiding quality assurance testing. Performing and aiding in performance testing. Learn and follow all internal compliance guidelines and practices Knowledge of Presentation Layer technologies (JavaScript, CSS, HTML, DHTML, Ajax, DOJO, etc.) Required education/experience: • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. • Typically experienced across multiple Information Technology areas and all system / applications software development. • Serves as point of escalation for complex issues. Endeca IAP - Analytics package development experience is a MUST. Extensive experience with J2EE platform and Java application development lifecycle. Strong core java skills and practical knowledge of basic/intermediate design patterns. Working knowledge of Object Oriented Design, Abstraction. Experience with Spring 2.5+. Good troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to learn new technologies and skills quickly College degree in Computer Science, engineering or Information Technology. Advanced degree a plus. Pluses: Experience with WebLogic Portal Server 10.x Experience with Java Server Faces 1.2+ Strong understanding of SOA and layered architectures preferred. Experience consuming and/or developing web services. Other Comments for Vendors: Endeca IAP Analytics package, SDK, JEE experience is a MUST.
