Title: DB2 DBA with SQL Server
ü Location: Burbank, CA ü ü Duration: 6 month contract Start: Immediate ü ü Rate: 50/hr Details: This client would prefer someone who has SQL Server as a secondary database, along with DB2 as the primary database support expertise. Senior DB2 DBA needed for Production Support of this Enterprise wide Cognos environment. There will be "on call" responsibilities 2 weekends per month, but there will not be any overtime. Must have AIX experience The end users that will be supported in this role are technical IT personnel who are working on the development and implementation of a large Cognos system. Those people may be Developers, Data modelers, Reporting Analysts, Database Architects etc. This DBA will handle such things as; Support of 15 cubes for 7 business units Rebuilding indexes Migrations Performance issues on ETL Loads Building DB loads In addition to strong DB2 experience it would be desirable for this person to have SQL Server under Windows support experience as well.
