Title: Business Process Modeling Specialist (BA)
Location: Columbia, SC
Duration: 1 year
Interview Type: Telephonic and In-Person

Required Skills and Abilities:
• At least 3 years experience in business modeling including the use of *BPMN,
UML, and entity-relationship diagrams*
• A strong understanding of workflow concepts.
• Ability to identify and analyze business process patterns.
• IT, operations research, quality improvement, or other related experience.
• An understanding of how to establish and measure business performance and
quality metrics.
• At least three years using *commercial off the shelf (COTS)
tools*specifically designed for business modeling and business rules
management.
• Excellent analytical skills enabling the consultant to understand the
operations of the organization at the strategic and tactical level and to be
able to visualize optimization opportunities not readily apparent, including
siloed processes, redundancies, and interdependencies.
• Experience in eliciting, documenting, and managing general requirements
and business design information.
• Superb written and oral communications skills. Strong oral and written
proficiency in English is required.

Preferred Skills and Abilities:
• Experience in training staff in business modeling techniques.
• Experience in a healthcare insurance environment (Medicaid preferred).
• Public sector experience is a plus.
• Experience in enterprise architecture.
