Do you have business analysis skills that you would like to expand on, and possibly take on some project management responsibilities? If so then this could be the place for you! company is looking for a Sr. Business Analyst to work on an exciting new project in the Sarbanes-Oxley world. The person applying for this position must have a strong background in business analysis with some project management experience. You will be working with a multitude of different business partners which will require to you to manage expectations, obtain precise information, and provide guidance. In this role you will mainly be responsible for working on access permissions in a variety of applications and conflicts that exist within and across applications permission sets. You will also be responsible for documenting all the information so that it can be easily maintained and used during Sarbanes-Oxley audits of users and their access to applications. * * *RESPONSIBILITIES:* - Complete analysis on Segregation of Duties (SOD) across enterprise systems. - Create matrixes identifying access permissions and SOD conflicts internally to systems and across the enterprise. - Conduct interviews with stakeholders to elicit necessary information. - Liaison between IT, Application, and Business stakeholders. - Identify areas of opportunity for improvements to existing processes. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand Access Permissions in applications. - Complete other activities and duties as needed. - Provide weekly status reports on progress and current risks/issues *General Skills:* - Ability to work independently and in a team setting - Strong written and oral communication skills. - Experience in Sarbanes-Oxley strongly preferred. - Experience in Telecom Industry, specifically in IT preferred. - Ability to manage time, multi-task, and meet deadlines. - Ability to analyze data and form conclusions. - Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment. - Software industry experience desired.
