Location : Windsor, CT. Rate : $50/hr not negotiable *User Interface Java Developer/Applications Architecture* The Software Developer Lead will participate in the design phase of a project, and then lead a small team of offshore developers through the development lifecycle to successfully develop and test the project feature set. *Responsibilities:* Working within a team setting, the Senior Software Developer may be responsible for any one or a combination of the following activities: - Providing analytical and technical support in the design, development, and implementation of complex web based applications in a J2EE environment. - Analyze, design, code, debug, test and document the applications/software products and computer programs - Analyze and manipulate data using complex data queries. - Design and Create batch programs in Java for file transfer, and data movement across databases. *Qualifications:* - 5+ years hand on experience building software applications using Struts, Java/JSP, PL/SQL in a J2EE environment. - Proven expertise across a broad spectrum of Web technologies (Ajax/JavaScript, Struts 2.0, JSP and web services APIs). Experience in ExtJS is a strong plus. - Experience in JBoss Applicaton Server. - Familiarity with Java Mail API, and BusinessObjects. - Extensive experience with writing PL-SQL for DB2, Sybase and/or Oracle databases. - Solid understanding of MVC applied to OO principles, patterns, multi-threading and relational databases.
