*Position: Rails Developer* *Location : Philadelphia, PA* *Rate : 50/hour C2C* *Client : Comcast* *Interview : Phone then F2F* Rails developer to work on a web application to host the group’s communication to the larger organization. The ideal candidate for this role should have the following skills: • Expertise in the Node/JavaScript stack: ReactJS and ExpressJS • Experience in app deployment and monitoring • Familiarity with MongoDB database as a backend for Rails apps • Experience in frontend HTML development using Bootstrap or similar front end frameworks • Experience with the Git version control systems • Experience with integration with third party APIs • Solid understanding of object oriented programming *Responsibilities:* • The candidate will be responsible for developing and deploying the Labs website to our cloud • The candidate will also be responsible for setting up systems to monitor the site performance and availability • The candidate will produce any documentation required to allow technical teams to manage the site in the developer's absence *Requirements:* • At least 3 or more years of web development experience with at least 2 years with Nodejs or Python and JavaScript frameworks like Express.
