This position manages initiatives of significant strategic value with enterprise-wide impact. She/he will execute project management processes and methodologies within the project framework to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet customer expectations. The position is responsible for tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of customers. She/he partners with senior management from both the business community and IT to identify and prioritize opportunities for utilizing IT to achieve the goals of the enterprise. The position regularly communicates with executive leadership regarding project status and performance. This is a position within the Data Management Group. *RESPONSIBILITIES: *Manage complex Data Migration projects and initiatives for a large-scale software implementation. May manage multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously. Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects. Responsible for taking project from original concept through final delivery. Assemble project teams, assign individual responsibilities, develop project schedules and determine and acquire resources needed. Ensure project conforms to organization's objectives, milestones, and budget. Prepare and review project status reports. Create key decision documents for presentation to Senior IT Leadership. Identify, mitigate and manage issues and risks. Manage internal relationships for a team of consultants, developers, engineers, analysts, and related professionals. Manage external vendor selection and relationships. Establish project management processes and procedures to ensure adherence to high quality standards. Primary focus on Data Migration projects. *QUALIFICATIONS: ** Minimum of 7 - 10 years of project management experience, including 5 - 7 years supervisory experience. At least 5 years of project management experience for a US-based company. * Extensive experience working with IT system implementations.
