Location: Denver, CO - Colorado
Duration: 9 Months
Interview: Telephonic and Face to Face
Required Skills:
* This position is for a Oracle Database Administrator.
* Experienced (5 years minimum, 8+ preferred)
* In depth Oracle Administration experience running multiple versions
of Oracle on Linux and Windows.
* Experience with structured change management policies.
* Experience with Tidal Enterprise Scheduler or similar enterprise
scheduling tool.
* Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager.
* Strong self-sufficiency and initiative working on database projects.
* Oracle RAC experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure availability and performance of all Oracle database platforms
to ensure SLA's are met.
* Upgrades, storage migrations.
* Non-production and production deployment of vendor and application
team database changes.
* Identify, troubleshoot and resolve database related application
issues.
* Off-hours on-call responsibilities.
* Provide efficient, precise, customer focused service for database
customers.
* Support enterprise business continuity testing.
* Ensure databases meet application recovery point and recovery time
objectives.
* Responsible for database security Performance tuning, resource
allocation.
