*Location –* OK *Start –* February 6th *Duration –* 8 months + *Note -* 5 days on site is a must *Background - *Client is splitting into two separate business divisions and needs to copy everything about the current environment (Business Objects XI 3.1) into a new one. They are looking for several people: *Must Haves - * • Problem Solving skills • Good communications • Leadership-go in there, figure out what is going on, without hand holding *Role - *Business Objects Crystal and Webi Analyst (Problem Solver) *Project Summary –* This project will build the foundational infrastructure for Business Objects for the New Company. The reports will be migrated from the current COP Business Objects environment to the New Company domain. The data sources will be defined, managed and tested as applications move to the New Company domain. Lastly, this project will include updates to reports and universes for re-branding for the new company. *Position Description – * * * The Crystal and Webi analyst (problem solver) will be responsible for at least the following tasks: • Looking at issues with reports, universes, data connections, output locations and being able to dig into the issues and solve the problem. • Once resolution is defined, document and teach Lead Developer how to resolve the problem so that the developers can go in and fix all of the issues of that problem type. *Required Skills –* • Proven experience solving problems in Business Objects • Proven experience documenting resolution of problems. • Proven experience with *Crystal Delivery options (InfoView, Email, shared drive, ftp, etc.)* • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills to meet task deadlines • Ability to work independently, self-motivated, with excellent verbal communication skills • Experience with *Universe Design* in Business Objects XI 3.1 • Extensive knowledge connecting to multiple data sources (SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, SAP BW, Access) • *Experience resolving issues with data source connections* • Experience building and publishing Crystal Reports 2008 • Experience building and publishing Webi Reports in XI 3.1 • Knowledge of the Central Management Console • * Experience with InfoView* • Understanding of Crystal Presentation options (Web, Excel, etc.) -------x-x-x-x-x------x-x-xx-x-x-x-----------------------------x-x-x-x-xx—x-x-x-x-x—x—x-x—x------ * * *Position: 2)** * *Position: BO Admin Location –* OK *Start –* February 6th *Duration –* 8 months + *Note -* 5 days on site is a must *Background - *Client is splitting into two separate business divisions and needs to copy everything about the current environment (Business Objects XI 3.1) into a new one.
