Rate: Open – Please advise Duration: short term, 3-6 months Location: Hartford, Connecticut Yrs. of Experience: Senior Resource *Job Description:* The Citrix Engineers will be required to participate in the design/engineering activities of a XenApp farm, third party solutions and business initiatives that make up the client’s XenApp environment. Resource tasks will include system design, engineering activities, certification and lead the implementation of XenApp solutions and business initiatives. The resources will be required to manage the engineering and implementation of XenApp projects following client's testing, certification and change management processes. *Job Responsibilities:* · Engineering client's XenApp business and infrastructure solutions will be the primary duties of this role. · Document designs and configurations that will be part of the Citrix engineering team’s repository · Perform and document testing scenarios and results of solutions · Document and gain approvals required by client's operational readiness testing process. · Document procedures that will be transitioned to the help desk and Citrix support teams *Job Qualifications:* · Experience deploying and supporting large scale Citrix environments and experience with XenApp 6. · Must have a solid foundation in XenApp 6 from initial requirements gathering, testing, documentation and installation through all troubleshooting aspects · Experience with supporting 32 bit applications in a 64 bit environment. · Good working knowledge of Citrix NetScaler, Citrix Access Gateway, Provisioning Server, Application Streaming and EdgeSight Advanced. · Very good knowledge of Windows Server 2008 · Very good knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policies · Ability to work independently without intensive oversight · Initiative and ability to research problems independently · Strong oral and written communication skills · Emphasis on sharing of knowledge through good communications and written documentation · Strong inter-personal skills · Positive customer service attitude · Focused on quality · Organized · Committed to continual improvement *Technical Proficiencies Required:* · Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA) or equivalent experience *Strong Background in the following areas:* · Windows 2008 server · XenApp 6 · MS SQL · SCCM · Technical problem-solving ability · Advanced Networking concepts (TCP/IP, Routing, Firewalls, Network Security) *Other useful proficiencies:* · Scripting capabilities · WMI *Thanks and have nice day!* * * *D*eepak *E*mail: pansari.dee...@aita-inc.com ---------- Thanks Deepak pansari.dee...@aita-inc.com deepu.handy ( Yahoo & Gtalk ) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "American Vendor--IT Consulting" group.
